Apple continues to offer exciting new features with the release of iOS 18.2 developer beta 1: AI-powered Image Playground and Genmoji are among the innovations that iPhone users have been eagerly awaiting. So, how can you try out these features before anyone else?
What are Image Playground and Genmoji?
Image Playground is a brand-new image generation tool developed by Apple… Users can create visuals in three different styles by entering short text prompts. These visuals are generated as animations, illustrations, or sketches, providing a creative experience for users looking to craft artistic content rather than photorealistic images.
Now, let’s talk about Genmoji… Another new feature from Apple, Genmoji allows users to create their own personalized emojis. Based on text inputs, users can design emojis that reflect their style and personality. The goal of Genmoji is to make messaging and social media more fun and expressive for users…
To try out the Image Playground and Genmoji features, you’ll first need to install the iOS 18.2 beta on your device. These features are currently limited to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series users. After installing the beta, simply click the Image Creation icon (represented by a cat symbol) from the App Library and press the ‘Request Early Access’ button.
One of the most striking innovations introduced with iOS 18.2 is Siri’s integration with ChatGPT. With this integration, Siri can now answer many questions it previously couldn’t, thanks to ChatGPT’s support. To activate this feature, go to Settings > Apple Intelligence and Siri > ChatGPT integration.
Last Sunday, Apple granted more users access to the Image Playground and Genmoji features. The company announced plans to gradually expand access over the coming weeks. Users who gain access can test the features and provide feedback.
